Every diamond E'lhaa sets is lab-grown, IGI-certified, and chemically identical to a diamond pulled from the ground. Here's what that actually means.

Real diamonds. Grown above ground.

A lab-grown diamond is a diamond. Same carbon. Same crystal lattice. Same fire on the cutter's wheel. The only difference is where it forms: in a chamber that mimics the heat and pressure of the Earth's mantle, in about eight weeks, instead of a billion years underground.

Held under the loupe, a lab-grown diamond is indistinguishable from a mined one. The Gemological Institute of America grades both on the same 4Cs scale. The IGI certificate that ships with every E'lhaa piece confirms colour, clarity, cut, and carat against the exact same benchmarks.

How we make them

Our diamonds are grown by Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD). A small diamond seed is placed in a sealed chamber. Methane and hydrogen gases are introduced, then heated until carbon atoms separate from the gas and settle layer by layer onto the seed, growing it into a rough diamond crystal. That rough is then cut, polished, and graded by independent laboratories — the same process every fine diamond goes through before it reaches a setter.

What we look for

Every E'lhaa diamond is IGI-certified at F-G colour and VS clarity or better. We work only with growers who supply full origin documentation, and every stone we set is matched by hand to the piece it's going into.
