Jewellery was never just something I wore. It marked life. A birthday, an important milestone, an ordinary Tuesday that mattered more than it looked. I loved it for what it meant once it was on, not simply for how it looked in a shop window.

Some of my favourite pieces were never new. They had been reworked, repurposed, passed down. Hand-me-downs that were never really old because they were still being used. Still being worn. Still meaning something to whoever had them next.

Lab-grown diamonds. Recycled gold. Nothing made until someone has actually ordered it.

That’s not a sustainability pitch. It’s simply how I’d want jewellery to be made if I were starting from nothing.

Every piece is made the way I’d want it to be kept. Worn until it’s properly yours, then passed to whoever comes next.

Not because it’s rare.

Because by the time it gets there, it means something.
